EaThai – Authentic Thai Cuisine

Again, I have Instagram to thank for leading me to Eathai restaurant in Delray! Anyone who knows me, even a little bit, knows that I go absolutely bat shit crazy for Thai food! I have tried just about every local Thai restaurant from Boca Raton to Palm Beach. And in every one of those Thai restaurants were used to the same old thing…pad Thai, curry and sushi.

Well not at Eathai! The owner and operator, So, is a new Florida resident, coming from New York City where he lived and worked for the past 20 years. Before that he was living in his homeland of Thailand. So prides himself on cooking REAL and AUTHENTIC Thai food! While you well still find pad Thai and other traditional items on his menu, you will also find some authentic Thai dishes I promise you have never had! His stance on sushi is great, he loves to eat it himself, but he reminded me that sushi is NOT THAI FOOD!

At Eathai, they are striving to become the premier Thai restaurant in the Delray Beach, Florida! They have infused the classical Thai cuisine we all know and love with a modern ambiance to appeal to everyone from the Thai traditionalist to the first time Thai diner. As soon as you try some of their delicious traditional dishes like Pad Thai, Papaya Salad, or our Grilled Lamb Satay, you’ll be hooked! For the vegetarian in your group, be sure to try the excellent tofu dishes full of flavor.

They also feature a beautiful bar made from reclaimed wood that really pops and makes the room complete. They serve local beers on tap as well as local to the owner, Thai beers! They have a pretty fantastic happy hour and if you’re thinking of trying it out, that seems like a great time to go!
