Many folks who are natives down here in South Florida might remember The Cottage in Lake Worth, was a staple in town for years. Out with old and in with the new! CWS Bar & Kitchen has taken over the location in downtown Lake Worth and have done an incredible job reviving the old and rundown building. Even know it is brand new, it feels and looks like it has been there forever. There slogan is my favorite…. “damn glad to meet you!”
CWS Bar & Kitchen is way more than another gastro pub. They open at 7 a.m. every morning so guests can enjoy a Panther Coffee bar that also serves up light pastries. They have a giant outdoor “beer garden” which makes for an awesome Sunday Funday spot and an excellent venue to catch a local band! The inside has a whiskey den vibe to it and is tastefully decorated. The craft cocktail bar and restaurant concept comes to Palm Beach County from 3-J Hospitality, which owns music venue Revolution Live, outdoor party spot America’s Backyard, and speakeasy-style drinking den Bar Stache—all in Fort Lauderdale.
The best part about this place is of course the food! CWS is a from scratch kitchen, led by local celebrity Chef Jessie Steele. The menu has everything from $5 apps to $40 steaks. There is truly something for everyone on the menu.
Here is a preview of some of my favourite food and beverage items from CWS:
