When you grow up in Boca Raton (it was REALLY tough) you come to know about the Boca Raton Resort. Whichever it is, you know it, and you’ve been and you love it! It is an iconic South Florida landmark. The resort is celebrating it’s 92nd birthday as we speak!
When you say Boca Raton Resort, you think – beach club, golf course, hotel, spa, conference center, croquet courts, tennis, pools, gardens, etc. BUT what people who aren’t already in the know are missing out on, is a 5-star dining experience in a setting that cannot be matched ANYWHERE in the state of Florida. I was extremely lucky and privileged to be invited to try the resort’s flagship fine dining experience The Blue, by Taylor Bergman (Social Media Marketing Manager/Boss/Host/Foodie). The Blue is located on the 27th floor of the tower at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. The Blue is a fine-dining restaurant serving New American food and drink – sophisticated and contemporary with some unexpected flavors and modern takes on classic dishes.
The menu changes with the seasons (about every 3 months), as explained to my guest and I by executive Chef Christie Tenaud. The Blue uses the freshest and most succulent ingredients while placing emphasis on sustainable and organic foods from local farmers and local waters, complementing offerings like the Maine lobster, which arrives daily, fresh from its source.

The wait staff and knowledgable sommelier (Jamin) worked in PERFECT unison to provide the most incredible food and wine pairings. The courses appear in the order served. I HIGHLY recommend Oscar as a server as he went above and beyond and pushed our experience over the top!

Grilled Octopus • $19 – Crispy rainbow peewee potatoes, corn purée, frisée & salsa verde.
Paired with Prosecco D.O.C.
Deviled Eggs • $12 – Two classic, two dill & gherkin, two bacon & habanero pepper.
Paired with Prosecco D.O.C.
Pork Belly • $19 – Cider braised, with creamy polenta & apple-fennel slaw.
Paired with a Red Blend from Spain.
Grilled Quail • $21 – Chorizo & cornbread stuffed, frisée & balsamic reduction.
Paired with a Pinot Grigio from Ohio (yes that Ohio).
Roasted Maine Lobster • $47 – Pancetta-butter, bread crumbs, lemons & parsley.
Paired with a Napa Chardonnay.
Cider Bone-In Pork Chop • $39 – Cabbage, pear slaw & microgreens.
Paired with a French Pinot Noir.
Key Lime Pie • $15 – Graham crust, meringue & candied lime zest.
Paired with a Bordeaux dessert wine from California.
